The Museum now has a wonderful model of this very early 2 room cottage which is the earliest simple settlers cottage we have a record of that is still existing.

The display shows an 1880s photo which includes the cottage and a complete record of the property transactions from the first subdivisions in 1853 up to the present day.

The model shows the few possessions and simple lifestyle of many of the early settler inhabitants of the area.
