Accessioning collection items to computer
We have an ongoing project of accessioning our collections to the in-house database using Inmagic DB/Textworks software (New Zealand agent - Infospecs). This will provide searchable access to our large, diverse collections, greatly enhancing it's value to the local Community and the broader region. We gratefully acknowledge ASB Trust for their assistance with this project.

New displays and upgrades to existing displays

We have a number of displays in the pipeline and displays in the Museum that we are currently upgrading. Not all our collections are currently on display in the Museum and we will be developing new displays to showcase some of this wonderful material.

Oral histories

We have members working on recording oral histories of local community members and others, who have memories of Devonport places and people. Committee member Jennifer Barton is our Oral History Co-ordinator - if you would like to contact Jennifer please email oral_history@devonportmuseum.org.nz.
