The Devonport Historical and Museum Society Inc. was formed in 1977. We currently have about a hundred members and a committee of 12. We maintain and develop the Devonport Museum located on Cambria Reserve in Vauxhall Rd, Devonport. The Museum is housed in the old Presbyterian Church and was relocated from Church St in 1978.
We run several events a year to promote the Museum. The Museum is staffed on a volunteer basis by local Community members and is open from 2pm - 4 pm on weekends. Admission is free, but a small donation would be appreciated. We have a number of projects in development.
